Rob Page reflects on Bolton Wanderers v Northampton Town

Cobblers boss Rob Page praised what he called a 'professional performance' in Saturday’s Emirates FA Cup first round 6-0 win against Harrow Borough.

“I was really pleased today,” he said.

“We all know the FA Cup can throw up surprises and we wanted to make sure it wasn’t us.

“It was a professional performance and we did both sides of the game really well.

“We attacked and defended as a team and we need to continue that. We committed bodies forward in the right way and we managed to get a couple of early goals.

“I was pleased for JJ Hooper to get his goal at the end and hopefully that will be the first of a few to come from him.

“We’d like another home draw but we’ve shown in the league this season that whoever we are up against we will give a good account of ourselves.”
