Rob Page reflects on Gillingham v Northampton Town
Cobblers boss Rob Page was disappointed as he reflected on Saturday’s late 2-1 defeat at Gillingham.
“It’s a hard one to take at the minute,” he said.
“We’ve helped Gillingham win the game which is disappointing, we created enough chances to win the game and it’s a game we should have won. The goals we conceded were disappointing.
“We looked dangerous again going forward which is encouraging but we need to be more ruthless with our chances and cut out the silly little errors.
Speaking about the injury that curtailed JJ Hooper’s afternoon, Page added:
“JJ felt a sharp pain in his thigh but we won’t know more until we get it scanned.”
