Club enjoying a busy summer in the Northamptonshire community
Chairman Kelvin Thomas says that he is delighted to see the club’s ever growing presence in the local community.
The Cobblers are currently undergoing a major plan to build partnerships visit as many schools, events and workplaces as they can, many of whom have played host to the League 2 trophy over the last few weeks.
The work is being overseen by the club’s new Head of Community, Paul Devlin.
"One of the commitments we made six or seven months ago was that we would be out in the community and we have revamped the club’s community programme,” he said.
“Paul Devlin has come in, he is an experienced Head of Community and he will work with the local community to get us out and about.
"We have been all over the county this summer with the trophy and we have our fun day coming up on July 23rd which should be a great day.
"We have had tremendous support for that day from local business. We hope all supporters, new and old, will come and see the new kit, buy their tickets and will spend some time with and interacting with the players. It should be a great day and we are really looking forward to it.”
