Lawson D'Ath is set to miss Tuesday night’s Emirates FA Cup third round replay at MK Dons, although the Cobblers hope Alfie Potter will be fit to return.
“Lawson won’t be available and Alfie Potter is touch and go,” said boss Chris Wilder.
“Alfie had a bit of a reaction to training on Friday and that’s why he wasn’t involved at Dagenham.
“We will try again with him this week but it is what it is.
“We can’t play James Collins or Lee Martin because they are both cup tied so we will be a little bit light in terms of numbers on the bench.
“What we have got is quality not quantity and I’m happy we went down that route.”
