The team news ahead of Plymouth Argyle v Northampton Town
New signing James Collins comes into the Cobblers squad for Tuesday night’s trip to Plymouth after being cup-tied for the game against the MK Dons at the weekend.
“James will make his debut,” confirmed boss Chris Wilder.
“He’s trained a couple of times and he’s ready and raring to go.
“We’ve got a few tired bodies from Saturday but we came through unscathed.
“We are struggling a bit for training facilities at the moment because of the weather as most teams are but we have found somewhere to train en-route to Plymouth."
Asked about transfer interest in any of his players, Wilder added:
“We’ve had a couple of enquiries about Chris Hackett and Evan Horwood,” he said.
“Neither of them have had much game time this season but they are both good professionals and I’d expect there to be interest.
“We are working very hard to lift and improve the squad as we have done by bringing James in but we will only bring someone else in if we think they can make us better.”
