CHRIS WILDER - 'FANS ARE STARTING TO BELIEVE IN US'

15 January 2016

The Cobblers boss on Dagenham & Redbridge v Northampton Town

Cobblers boss Chris Wilder is demanding 'same again' from his squad Saturday’s trip to Dagenham.

“It was a big three points for us on Tuesday but we move on quickly to the next test,” he said.

“It was a great performance and a great result for us at Plymouth and no matter how you spin it I think it was deserved.

“We’ve had a tough week but we know in this league that we need to be bang at it for every game and to get a result on Saturday we will need to produce again.

“Dagenham have had a good couple of results in the league away from home and to go to Everton in the third round of the FA Cup and be in the game for so long is a good achievement. John Still will lift them and I wouldn’t be surprised if they get out of trouble.

“I think the supporters have really started to believe in us and they are seeing what we are about. The away support we’ve had has been terrific and I think they are starting to believe that this could be our season.

“We need to keep picking up points but this is a relentless, ruthless league and it punishes you if you are not right.”
