JOHN-JOE O'TOOLE AVAILABLE FOR AFC WIMBLEDON VISIT

29 February 2016

All the team news ahead of Northampton Town v AFC Wimbledon

John-Joe O’Toole could feature against AFC Wimbledon on Tuesday night after recovering from illness while a late decision will be made on the fitness of Rod McDonald.

“John-Joe trained on Monday and will definitely be available,” confirmed boss Chris Wilder.

“He was going to travel with us on Friday but he wasn’t very well and we took the decision not to take him.

“With the long journey we wanted to make sure that he was right for Wimbledon and we didn’t want him passing the bug on to any of the other players.

“Rod didn’t feel very well before the game on Saturday but he wanted to give it a go. He got a bang on the head and had to come off but we will assess him before Tuesday night.

“Luke Prosser will start if Rod’s not right and I thought it was a real solid performance from him on Saturday.”
