CHRIS WILDER WARY OF YORK'S IMPROVING HOME FORM

Cobblers boss Chris Wilder is expecting a tough away day in Tuesday night’s trip to York.

“The players have got the bit between their teeth and they are just waiting for the next game to come along,” he said.

“We’ve gone about our business in a real quiet and calm fashion but we are in great nick and we don’t want this to stop.

“We have come through a really tough week and now we face a different type of challenge this week against two teams fighting for their lives.

“We know the pressure of trying to stay in the Football League because we’ve been there and you see teams and players really raise their game.

“York have done that and their home form in the last six weeks has been really good.

“They had a disappointing result at Cambridge on Saturday but we are expecting a really tough game.”
