CHRIS WILDER - 'LEYTON ORIENT ARE FORMIDABLE OPPOSITION'

The Cobblers boss on Leyton Orient v Northampton Town

Cobblers boss Chris Wilder says he knows Saturday’s trip to in-form Leyton Orient will be tough.

“We are playing with a freedom and with a real positive attitude and we’ve got some fantastic games coming up,” he said.

“The run that we’re on hasn’t been given to us and we’ve had to work really hard for it.

“Leyton Orient are formidable opposition and I’m sure the team will match the personality and the winning mentality of their manager.

“Kevin Nolan has given the club a spark and with the players that they’ve got I’d say they are one of the top five clubs in this league.

“They have won three out of the last four and they will think if they have a good end to the season that they can sneak into the top three and we’re thinking that we have just got to keep our heads down and keep playing with the same drive that has got us into this position.

“This is a crucial part of the season but no game is a given in this league and we have to make sure that in every game we earn the right.

“We are doing a lot of things right at the moment but we’re there to be shot at and it’s important that we deal with that.”
