Football League Youth Alliance action
Northampton Town’s under 18s travelled to Dagenham & Redbridge on Saturday in the Football League Youth Alliance Merit Division.
Goals from Shaun McWilliams (2), Callum Westwood, Matty Forster, Shaquille Master and Joe Iaciofano (2), saw the Cobblers to a 7-2 victory in East London.
“It was 1-1 at half-time but the lads put in a really good second half performance,” said Lead Foundation Coach Mark Lyons.
“We are scoring goals, it’s good to see the team building on what we’ve done in the last few weeks and the players are getting the rewards for all their hard work.”
