UPDATE ON SOUTH GRAVEL CAR PARK

19 August 2016

Information for supporters

Northampton Town Football Club are advising supporters that the South gravel car park will not to be open for the AFC Wimbledon and West Bromwich Albion games but will be open for the MK Dons clash and for the remainder of the season.

This car park is owned jointly by the Home and Communities agency and the NHS and the club have always operated the car park on matchdays through a licence issued by the owners each season once the fixtures are released.

The club applied for the licence in the usual way however due to an unknown change in procedure there has been a delay in the granting of this for the 2016/17 season.

If this does cause any inconvenience for the next two games we would like to apologise to supporters, but the club have received assurances that the licence will be in place in time for the MK Dons game on Sunday September 4th and the car park will be open for that game and beyond.

The North gravel car park as well as the North overflow car park will be open as usual for the AFC Wimbledon and West Brom games, the entrance to these car parks is at the other end of the Sixfields complex, just beyond the entrance to the Tenpin and Pizza Hut car parks. If any supporters struggle to walk long distances they can be dropped off just off Edgar Mobbs Way before the driver of the car heads off to park.

As always, early arrival is recommended with Carr's Bar open from noon and the Fans Village from 1pm.

Thank you for your support.
