EFL Youth Alliance action
The Northampton Town under 18s travelled to Barnet on Friday in the EFL Youth Alliance.A see-saw game ended, 4-4, with the Cobblers leading three times through goals from Shama Bako, Joe Iaciofano and Lewis Irwin before falling behind only for a late goal from Jamie Hall to secure a draw.
"This was a real end to end game," said Lee Garlick, Head of Coaching for the Northampton Town Academy.
"We looked excellent going forward and were always a threat but we didn't defend as well as we could have.
"Overall I was happy, we showed good character to come back but we need to improve defensively."
