Rob Page reflects on Charlton Athletic 1 Northampton Town 1
Cobblers boss Rob Page praised the resilience of his side as he reflected on Saturday’s 1-1 draw away at Charlton.
“I think it’s a great point for us,” he said.
“It was another battling performance and it was a great effort from the players to recover quickly from Tuesday night where we had to play 120 minutes.
“A few of the players weren’t quite at it today but we’ve still come away with a point and that’s a great habit to have.
“The two centre halves were outstanding again and every single player put another great shift in.
“The fans were also outstanding, we had to really dig in deep towards the end and they certainly helped us through.
“It’s been a good week with a lot of positives and we thoroughly deserved a point today.”
