Can Ricky Holmes lift the League 2 Player of the Year award?

Cobblers fans here and around the world can join in with the excitement of this year’s Football League Awards. The live stream will commence at approximately 8.35pm this evening and run throughout the award ceremony. 

Prizes will be awarded to the best players in each of the three divisions as well as in a host of categories honouring players, fans, community trusts and the unsung heroes at the heart of the Football League’s 72 clubs. Ricky Holmes has been short-listed for the League 2 Player of the Year award and you can tune in live below to see if Holmes can lift the prize. 

For the first time ever the awards are being held in Manchester, with today, Sunday 17th April, the date on which the Football League was officially formed in the same city back in 1888.

In another first for the awards, the best 11 players and manager from across the 72 clubs will be recognised, with the ‘Football Manager Team of the Season’ to be announced this evening.
