Football League Youth Alliance action
Northampton Town’s under 18s concluded their Football League Youth Alliance Merit Division campaign on Saturday with a goalless draw against Stevenage.
“It was an excellent performance,” said Lead Foundation Coach Mark Lyons.
“We created plenty of chances and perhaps the only disappointing thing was that we didn’t take those chances and win the game.
“We had quite a few players playing in unfamiliar positions but there were a lot of positive signs for next year.”
