Football League Youth Alliance action
Northampton Town’s under 18s welcomed Swindon Town to Moulton College on Saturday in the Football League Youth Alliance Merit Division.
The game ended 1-1 with Shaun McWilliams on target for the Cobblers.
“It was a good goal from Shaun in another hard working team performance,” said Lead Foundation Coach Mark Lyons.
“We created a lot of good chances and we need to be more clinical in front of goal. With the chances we had we should have won the game but the performance was encouraging.”
