The Cobblers boss on Exeter City v Northampton Town

Cobblers boss Chris Wilder says there will be no let up from his side in Saturday’s trip to Exeter.

Northampton Town secured their promotion last weekend, and now Wilder wants the title secured.

“We want that title and we are looking for a big finish,” he said.

“To be the first team in the country promoted is a fantastic achievement and last Saturday was just a great day all round.

“There was a fantastic atmosphere from the off and you saw with the scenes at the end what this football club means to the supporters.

“The players deserved to go out and celebrate but we are back to work now.

“We are really focused on having a good end to the season. That’s the mentality of the group right the way through and it’s a good quality to have.

“There are a few teams looking to come out of the pack and Exeter are definitely one of those.

“They are on a great run and they will want to carry that on but we are not there to make up the numbers, we’ve got our own ambitions and our own focus.”
