Successful event held in Kettering
Northampton Town's Cobblers in the Community programme, in partnership with the Northants FA organised another of the increasingly popular Heads Up football tournaments for adults at THE Kettering Arena Sports.Unfortunately a couple of teams pulled out at the last minute, nevertheless it did not disrupt the enthusiasm of the teams from Northampton, Kettering and Surrey.
The football was played in a great spirit and some excellent skill was shown throughout the day.
The winning team was Swale from Surrey who were unbeaten on the day, second place was Berrywood from Kettering, Bridge and Northampton.
All players are looking forward to the next festival which is on Wednesday June 1 at Sixfields.
