Cobblers boss Chris Wilder said that despite setting a new club record, his team were a little disappointed not to have won in Saturday’s 1-1 draw at Yeovil, a result that extends Northampton Town's run to 22 Football League games unbeaten.
“We are a bit disappointed that we haven’t won today,” he said.
“We didn’t start very well which isn’t like us but we recovered after the first 20-25 minutes.
“We had chances but we didn’t put them to bed.
"We’ve broken a club record which is a fantastic achievement and an outstanding effort.
“Everyone has played a part and the consistency from the players in performances and results has been fantastic.”
