CHRIS WILDER - 'NO EASING UP'

22 April 2016

The Cobblers boss on Yeovil Town v Northampton Town

Cobblers boss Chris Wilder says he is determined to ensure his squad keep their intensity high for Saturday’s trip to Yeovil.

Northampton Town are already confirmed as Sky Bet League 2 Champions, but Wilder says that won't mean any easing off.

“All we want to do is win the next game of football,” he said.

“We are at the back end of an incredible season and that winning mentality has been with us right the way through.

“We just want to keep winning and we’d love to win our remaining games.

“The focus of the group to win has been consistent and they won’t take their foot off the accelerator.

“I thought our play on Tuesday night was outstanding and you could see that the group was fully committed. It was a really good performance in all aspects of the game.

“Yeovil have done outstandingly well and they will want to finish the season off on a high. Darren has done a really good job there and it’s all set up to be a cracking game.”
