MARC RICHARDS AVAILABLE FOR LEYTON ORIENT CLASH

25 September 2015

The Cobblers boss on Northampton Town v Leyton Orient,

Marc Richards could come back into the Cobblers starting line-up for the visit of Leyton Orient after recovering from a slight side strain.

“Marc should be okay,” said Town boss Chris Wilder.

“Joel Byrom had a bit of a sore groin after the game on Saturday but he should be fine to train later in the week.

“Rod McDonald was ill over last Friday and Saturday but he’s trained this week and he will be okay as well.

“Zander Diamond should be back in training on Monday and Evan Horwood has been training with the kids this week so he is stepping up his rehab.

“With Ricky Holmes it’s a slow one but Brendan Moloney is off to St George’s Park for a week of rehabilitation which is really good for him.

“We are missing some really big players and I want them all back as soon as possible but we have to be sensible with it.

“We are in a period of the season where we don’t need to take any ridiculous risks but the sooner those players are back the better.”
