Cobblers boss Chris Wilder reflecting on Saturday’s 4-2 win at Morecambe.
“That’s an outstanding afternoon for us,” he said.
“It’s all about putting runs together and I don’t want us to be a yo-yo team.
“We wanted to back up the result from last week and we didn’t let our standards drop. We’ve had the bit between our teeth all week and we’ve taken that into the game today.
“As soon as we scored we took the game away from Morecambe and it was a real dominant performance from us in the second half.
“Dominic and Sam were great at the top of the pitch, there were good individual performances all over and collectively we looked a team.
“We were a touch disappointed with the two goals we conceded and we could have added to our goals tally but this is a fantastic result.”
