The Cobblers boss previews Northampton Town v Leyton Orient

Cobblers boss Chris Wilder previews the visit of league leaders Leyton Orient to Sixfields on Saturday.

“We are playing the team top of the league, the handbrake will be off and let's go for it,” he said.

“We’ve had two good performances and results and we want to make it three on the spin.

“I’m hoping and I’m expecting us to kick on but Leyton Orient will believe they can come here and win. Both teams will be going for the three points and there will be a lot of good attacking players on show.

“Leyton Orient have started the season on fine form and I’d think out of all the teams that came down they would definitely be the one expected to bounce back straight away.

“They have got off to a great start and it’s up to us to put a dent in their promotion charge and at the same time enhance our recent form and points tally.

“We are desperate to be consistent, we want to play against the top team’s in the division and it’s a great opportunity for us.

“It’s a good game for our supporters and we saw at the Oxford game the lift they gave us. I’m sure there will be another good crowd in and looking at it I’d say it’s probably one of the stand out games of the day in our division.”
