Football in the Community priogramme seeks new Head
VACANCY: HEAD OF COMMUNITY
Northampton Town's Football in the Community programme was formed in 1994 and became a Charitable Trust in 2001. Their aim is to deliver innovative and creative sports and education programmes to all local communities, particularly those who are disadvantaged.
They are looking to recruit a centered, innovative and creative leader, with excellent communication skills. You will be joining a small but very committed and motivated team. Your role is to lead the organisation and team through a period of change and development and secure a sustainable and vibrant future for the organisation.
This is an exciting and challenging time to join and drive forward the organisation through a period of change and development. You will help assess, plan and implement an ambitious strategy, leading to business growth and service development. You will lead the organisation, with vision, passion and confidence. Using a collaborative, enabling and hands-on approach, you will establish and manage new services, support the development of current services and ensure financial stability.
You will bring to the role a successful track record of project management and developing and delivering services, working to agreed deadlines and targets. You will be a skilled communicator and an ability to forge partnerships and spot business opportunities and run with them. With a positive attitude and style, you can engage and influence with ease. You’ll have a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of the bigger strategic picture. Both a team player and a self-starter you will have the ability to maintain high standards and a disciplined approach, be hands-on and work flexibly within a changing sports and social care environment.
