The Cobblers boss on Northampton Town v Carlisle United
Cobblers boss Chris Wilder is well aware of the danger his side face as they prepare for Tuesday night’s home game against Carlisle.
“Carlisle are dangerous opponents and it’s another challenge for us,” he said.
“They have done extremely well away from home, they are very attacking and I’m sure both teams will be going for it. The pressure is on us and hopefully we will rise to the occasion.
“We have to break down what ever is put in front of us and it’s up to us to be adaptable.
“There wasn’t an awful lot wrong with our performance on Saturday, we just needed to be a bit more controlled in our play in the last half an hour and better in both boxes.
“The players have been superb with everything flying about and the commitment was there, we just needed to show a bit more quality in our attacking play.
“We are a learning team, I want us to be on the front foot and we go for wins where ever we go, home or away, but it has to be in a controlled fashion.”
