The Cobblers boss ahead of Northampton Town v Stevenage
Cobblers boss Chris Wilder is expecting Saturday’s home game against in form Stevenage to be another difficult game for his side.
“The boys have really got a spring in their step after the other night and we are really looking forward to Saturday,” he said.
“It was a big three points for us on Tuesday and it’s really important that if we are going to do well that we stick together consistent performances and consistent results.
“Stevenage are on a decent run, they are finding a little bit of form and they will be looking to climb the table.
“They play decent football and I will never underestimate any team in this league.
“We have to make sure that we are bang at it but we are a confident bunch and we are starting to believe.
“I’m not sure if the off the field stuff is keeping some people away but all we can do is keep working hard and try and keep producing performances that excite the supporters who come to watch us.
“We feel that we are doing our job and that’s all we have to focus on.”
