The Cobblers boss on Millwall v Northampton Town
Cobblers boss Chris Wilder previews Tuesday night’s Johnstone’s Paint Trophy second round tie at Millwall.
“It’s another good opportunity for us to go and play what I believe is a Championship side that is in League One,” he said.
“We were deserved winners against Blackpool and Colchester and this is a game we can win if we are right and we play well.
“It’s another tough test for us but it’s a game that we will go and enjoy.
“Players have to be mentally strong home and away, we are going to a big ground but we have got enough experience in the side to deal with that.
“Historically the crowds at this stage of the competition aren’t that big but we are all looking forward to the game and we want to go well.
“I’m delighted with how the players have gone about their business and their general attitude has been first class.”
