ALFIE POTTER AND SHAUN BRISLEY SHOULD BE FIT FOR WYCOMBE WANDERERS TRIP

2 October 2015

The team news ahead of Wycombe Wanderers v Northampton Town

Alfie Potter (dead leg) and Shaun Brisley (ankle) are both set to be included in the Cobblers matchday 18 for Saturday’s game at Wycombe.

“We think Alfie and Shaun will be okay for the weekend,” said boss Chris Wilder.

“There is no change on the long-term injured but Brendan Moloney and Evan Horwood are both back in training and they are working their way back to full fitness.

“Brendan and Evan are both good honest pros and they want to add to the team and make us stronger as a group.

“They have missed the whole of pre-season so we are trying to cram as much in without overworking them, they are both good characters and it’s good to have them back in the group.

“Ricky Holmes has had a couple of injections on his back but whether or not he will need an operation we don’t know at this stage.

“The operation route is a route we really don’t want to go down but if it’s something the player needs to preserve his future career then we will have to look at it.”
