Football League Youth Alliance action
Northampton Town’s youth team played their third game in a week at Moulton College as they took on Gillingham in the Football League Youth Alliance.
Despite goals from Robbie Parsons, Joe Iaciofano and Callum Westwood, the Cobblers were edged out 4-3.
“It’s disappointing to lose a game I felt we dominated for long periods,” said under 18s coach Craig Hinton.
“The strong wind made conditions tricky but the four goals we conceded were all from set plays and that is something we need to work on.”
