COBBLERS HOPING MARC RICHARDS WILL BE FIT FOR CRAWLEY CLASH

24 November 2015

All the team news ahead of Crawley Town v Northampton Town

Leading goalscorer Marc Richards picked up an ankle knock in the weekend win at Notts County but assistant boss Alan Knill is hopeful he will be fit for the trip to Crawley on Tuesday night.

“Rico turned his ankle but he trained on Monday so we are hopeful that he will be okay,” he said.

“Joel Byrom was struggling a bit towards the end of the game but he trained on Monday as well and Sam Hoskins should come back into contention so that gives us another option.

“Ricky Holmes is aiming for Tuesday night but we are just trying to hold him back.

“We will continue to do that and if this week goes well then maybe he will be involved on Saturday.”
