CHRIS WILDER HOPING TO SEE SIXFIELDS FULL ON SATURDAY

27 November 2015

The Cobblers boss on Northampton Town v Yeovil Town

Cobblers boss Chris Wilder is hoping to see Sixfields full for the visit of Yeovil Town on Saturday.

“Hopefully we can round off a fantastic week both on and off the pitch in front of a full house,” he said.

“It would be great to see this place rocking on Saturday, there is obviously going to be a feelgood factor after what we’ve all been through but for me this is the start and this is the time we need to drive this club forward.

“We are really focused and if we can get a win on Saturday that will give us 40 points from 20 games which will give us a really good platform.

“We want the feelgood factor to stay and that will only be the case if the players keep producing good performances and getting good results.

“Everybody at the football club has stuck together through this period, it’s been uncomfortable at times but you battle through it.

“The players, the staff and the fans are all together and you need that unity if you are going to be successful.

“Yeovil will come here determined to put on a show and whether they sit in or come at us it’s a challenge that we need to overcome. Come 3pm on Saturday both teams are on a level and we are going to have to maintain our standards if we want to get a result.

“The players are ready and raring to go. They are confident but they are not arrogant and they know that this is a tough game.”
