The Cobblers boss on Northampton Town v Mansfield Town

Cobblers boss Chris Wilder is looking forward to the tough test that will be provided by Mansfield Town on Saturday.

“It’s another tough game but we’ve got momentum at the moment and we need to keep the hammer down,” he said.

“Mansfield have had some outstanding results away from home and in Adam Murray they have got a bright up and coming manager.

“It’s going to be a different type of test for us than it was on Saturday but we feel that we can score goals.

“I think the majority of games down here have been entertaining and we are going to set up to go for the three points.

“We are in good nick, we are playing some decent football and most importantly that whatever the situation the attitude and the desire of the players has been absolutely first class.

“Hopefully the off the field stuff will get sorted and I’m sure that will give everybody a massive lift going into Saturday.”
