The Cobblers boss on Crawley Town 1 Northampton Town 2

Cobblers boss Chris Wilder was a happy man as he reflected on Tuesday night’s 2-1 win at Crawley Town.

“For an hour we were outstanding and really I was a bit disappointed that we didn’t extend our lead in that period,” he said.

“We’ve shown two sides to our game tonight and afterwards we talked about how quickly things can change in a game.

“We had to hang on in there when we went down to ten men but football wise we were good tonight and attitude wise we were even better.

“It’s another big three points but this is just the start for us and we need to be relentless and ruthless if we want to be successful.”
