ALAN KNILL PREPARED FOR IN-FORM CRAWLEY

Cobblers assistant Alan Knill is excpecting a tough examination in Tuesday night’s trip to in-form Crawley.

“Crawley pose a big threat, they are in really good form and they had a great result at the weekend,” he said.

“We are going to be prepared for them at their best and if both teams are at their best then it will be a really good game.

“We’re quite satisfied with our own form and the players are confident going into each game.

“In spite of everything that has gone on the results have been really good and that has helped to bring everybody together.

“I think the supporters can see that the players are giving their all and as a football supporter myself that’s what I want to see.

“Whenever there is adversity at a football club it does bring people closer together and you really see what football means to people.

“Chris thought it was time to say something after the game on Saturday, the Chairman has said that he would make the best decision for the football club and we all believe that Kelvin’s deal is the best.

“Irrelevant of the football I knew that Chris was ready to speak, he had an issue and he had something to say. If he believes its right and it’s from the heart then he will say it.”
