Could you make a difference and help Northampton Town?

Northampton Town have a number of vacancies and are currently seeking applications for the below:


Job Purpose:  
In this Business Development role, you will be responsible for uncovering, researching and profiling new leads for all market segments in order to secure profitable new business for Northampton Town Football Club. 

a) Pro-active telesales & appointments for lead generation (50% of time) in the sale of Match day Hospitality & Sponsorship, Advertising, Meetings & Events
b) Work with current client base on renewals and identifying upselling opportunities (30%)
c) Administrative work including proposal writing, sales reports, input into CRM system (15%)
d) Attend networking events in and around the Northamptonshire area as required (5%)
e) To achieve and exceed set monthly targets
f) Identify & develop cross-selling opportunities for the business with Club’s Catering partner and undertake necessary follow-up.  
g) Contribute effectively into the overall Commercial structure. 

1. No less than 2 years proven Field Sales experience 
2. Proven sales track record in exceeding monthly targets
3. Excellent communication & organisational skills. 
4. Proficiency in computer applications including Word, Excel, Powerpoint together with on-line research tools such as LinkedIn
5. Passionately driven towards revenue goals. 
6. Ability to work alone to tight deadlines as commercial requirement dictates as well as part of the sales team with multi-tasking ability. 
7. Excellent standards of personal presentation, projecting a positive image in sales presentations, external meetings & internal activities. 

For this role, it is essential you have all the skills as outlined above and flexibility to work unsociable hours and all match days.  You must possess a full clean driving license and be professionally presentable at all times.  In return you will be rewarded with a basic salary of £18,000 per annum and generous bonus scheme and 20 days annual holiday per year plus statutory bank holidays

Job Purpose:  
In this key role, you will support the Club Shop in the sale of all retail both on and off line 

Greeting customers who enter the shop, assisting visitors to find the goods and products they are looking for.
Be responsible for fulfilment of all on line sales
Support the Ticket Office on non-match days with the sale of tickets, season tickets, memberships
Ensure Fanzone have sufficient stock levels on match days
Fulfil hospitality retail sales on match days 
Be involved in stock control and management.
Responsibility for processing cash and card payments.
Maintaining stock levels are adequate for trading day/week 
Reporting discrepancies and problems 
Maintaining a clean and tidy store including display areas
Being aware of shop security looking out for shoplifters and fraudulent credit cards etc.
Receiving and storing the delivery of stock
Keeping up to date with Club promotions 

Have a friendly, helpful, polite, confident and engaging personality and be comfortable working with members of the public.
A good level of fitness as you may be required to be on your feet for most of the day and may be required to lift large amounts of stock.
You should have a comprehensive understanding of retail sales i.e. Fast Moving Consumer Goods, sports equipment etc.
Able to work as part of a team as well as being comfortable on your own in the shop
Should be of a smart appearance and articulate.
Hours of work:  10am to 2pm Weekdays plus all matches including Cup games
For this role, it is essential you have all the skills as outlined above and flexibility to work unsociable hours and all match days.  In return you will be rewarded with a good hourly rate of pay and receive 20 days pro rata holiday per year plus statutory bank holidays
