Football League Youth Alliance action
Northampton Town's youth team travelled to Oxford United on Saturday for their Football League Youth Alliance Merit Division fixture.
The Cobblers won the game 3-0 with goals in the second half from Dodzi Agbenu, Alex Mushata and Sam Warburton.
“It was a good pleasing performance,” said under 18s coach Craig Hinton.
“We haven’t played for a while so it was nice to get back out on the pitch and to get a win with three goals and a clean sheet was encouraging.”
