Scottish defender signs Sixfields deal

Northampton Town have signed defender Ross Perry on a contract to the end of the season.

6ft 2in, 25 year old Perry started his career with Rangers, making 36 appearances, spending a period on loan at Oxford in the 2009/10 season.

He made 12 appearances for Falkirk in a loan spell in 2011 and was most recently with Raith Rovers, playing eleven times.

"Ross is coming in to boost the squad for the rest of this season and so we can have a look at him for next season," said boss Chris Wilder.

"I have worked with Ross before when I was at Oxford so I know a fair bit about him and his character. He impressed me then and  I am pleased we have been able to add him to the squad and give him this opportunity."

This move is subject to confirmation of our international clearance request.
