Important message for supporters who damage seats and abuse stewards
For all supporters who sit in the West Stand upper tier at the south end of the stadium who seem to think that it is acceptable to cause damage to the seats at every home game - it is not.
We have seen regular breakage of the seats caused by persons stamping their feet on them or by standing on them. We are seeing at least four seats per match being damaged.
Such action is criminal and we will now begin taking action against those persons who cause such damage, by reporting the matter to the police and supporting criminal prosecution.
Our CCTV cameras will be focussed on the area and we will take action.
The stewards who have been going into the area to advise fans over a period of time and being abused are doing their job and trying to reduce the financial implications to the club, so please comply with their requests.
