Bodin and Carter on target in win at Milton Keynes
Northampton Town gave match practice to a number of players as they ran out 2-1 winners in a behind closed doors friendly at MK Dons on Monday.
Shwan Jalal, Lewis Hornby, Darren Carter, Zander Diamond, John-Joe O'Toole, Ross Perry, Chris Hackett, Ivan Toney, James Gray and Billy Bodin all got some game time under their belts.
"It was a really good work out for us and the sort of game we will be looking to play more often next season," said boss Chris Wilder.
"Ross Perry got 90 minutes in and did really well. Most of the lads out there got the full 90, including Zander Diamond, and we were able to get 20 minutes of football into Lewis Hornby, which was pleasing."
Billy Bodin and Darren Carter were the scorers.
