Diego De Girolamo signs on to the end of the season
Northampton Town have signed Sheffield United striker Diego De Girolamo on loan until the end of the season.
De Girolamo emerged through the youth ranks at Bramall Lane and has so far made three starts and six substitute appearances for the Blades, scoring once, that goal coming in the fourth round of this season's FA Cup.
De Girolamo has spent a number of spells on loan at York City in 2014/15, scoring four times in nine starts and three substitute appearances.
He was recalled from his loan spell at York to make the move to Sixfields.
With his contract with Sheffield United expiring in the summer, media reports have linked him with a move to Juventus and various Premier League clubs.
