“We’ve done exceptionally well over this period and now it’s about reacting to a defeat by getting back to winning ways on Saturday,” he said.
“Our level of performance since the start of January has been excellent and we’ve just got to stick to our beliefs and the way that we play.
“We’ve started games quickly at home and that’s what we will be looking to do again but we need to be right mentally and bang at it from the word go.
“The backing we’ve had from the supporters has been great and it’s been a really positive environment for us at home.
“Confidence doesn’t get smashed by one defeat but we know we need to be better in key areas.
“Tranmere are fighting to stay in the league and whoever we play at this stage of the season it’s going to be tough.
“We’ve got 11 games to go and we just want to keep putting pressure on the sides above us and the way we do that is by winning games.”
