CHRIS WILDER - 'NO ONE HAS TAKEN OUR CHANCE AWAY FROM US'

26 March 2015

The Cobblers boss ahead of Northampton Town v Luton Town

Cobblers boss Chris Wilder previews Saturday’s visit of Luton Town.

“There is plenty of life left in the season and nobody has really taken it away from us in the last week,” he said.

“We are still in the hunt but we have made it more difficult for ourselves with our last two results and there is no real margin for error for us now.

“We would have liked to have closed the gap and the disappointing thing is that we’ve not been able to take advantage of other teams slip ups but as we’ve seen this season we are capable of putting a winning run together and that’s what we’ve got to do again.

“There should be a full house in on Saturday and it’s a game everybody should be looking forward to.

“John Still has done a fantastic job at Luton, to get out of the Conference with a big club is not easy and they have carried that momentum through to this season.

“We are expecting a tough game and we will need to play better than we have done in the last two games if we are going to get something.

“It was a tight game earlier in the season but they stepped up their play a bit in the second half and won it with a late goal. There has been a change of personnel and attitude since then and hopefully there will be a change of result on Saturday.”
