Head of Recruitment on recent addition
Head of Recruitment Martin Foyle says new defender Josh Lelan ticks a lot of the boxes in the club's recruitment policy this summer.
“Josh is exactly the type of player we are looking to bring in,” he said.
“He’s the right age and he’s a strong boy who can defend.
“He was a regular for Derby’s under 21s and he has also had loan experience with Swindon and Gateshead.
“It’s important that we bring in players who have been out on loan and have had that experience and that come here ready to go straight into the fray of first team football.
“We want players to come in and slot in quickly because we want to get off to a good start.
“He has played men’s football out on loan and I had no qualms whatsoever about recommending him to Chris and Alan.
“This boy has got a chance and he could be one for the future.”
