Event took place in Luton
Northampton Town's Football in the Community scheme recently took a team of players to Luton to take part in the first ever Walking Football tournament organised by the Football League Trust.
There were teams representing Luton, Stevenage, Norwich and Northampton Town. The Cobblers were winners of group two, overcoming Norwich and Luton. In the knock out stages Northampton Town were beaten by a strong Luton Town team.
The Walking Football Festival was a great success and many thanks to the Northants FA and the players for all of their help.
