Pre-season action for youth squad
A young Northampton Town side, made up of youth team players and first year professionals Sam Warburton and Danny Clifton, recorded a 2-1 win at Wellingborough Town in a pre-season friendly on Tuesday evening.
The Cobblers goals came from Alex Mushata and Ethan Lamptey.
"It was a good work out for what was a very young side," said coach Craig Hinton.
"The game was really enjoyable and played at a good tempo. It was a positive night for the young players."
