Success on the south coast!
Recently Northampton Town took three teams to Bournemouth to play in a Beach Football Tournament against teams from the hosts, Working, Feltham and Basingstoke. The Cobblers took part in the adult league with the A team in one group and the B and C teams in another group. The A team won their league with the B team coming second and C third in their respective groups. The A team progressed to the final, overcoming Basingstoke to lift the trophy!
All of the players really enjoyed the experience of playing on sand and were well supported by parents and carers throughout the day.
