CLUB UNVEIL 2015/16 KITS - PINK AWAY KIT IN SUPPORT OF BREAST CANCER CHARITY

23 July 2015

Northampton Town supporting CoppaFeel

Northampton Town are delighted to reveal the 2015/16 home and away kits. Both kits proudly carry the logos of the University of Northampton on the front and Opus Energy on the back.

The club have gone for a different look with the away kit, with a pink kit in support of charity.

The club have partnered with the CoppaFeel! breast cancer charity, and while season ticket holders and members can claim their usual discount from the new home shirt, the discount won't apply to the away kit, instead 10% of the income from the away kit sales will be donated to CoppaFeel!.

CoppaFeel! exists to educate and remind every young person in the UK that checking their boobs isn’t only fun, it could save their life. They are the first breast cancer charity in the UK to create awareness amongst young people, with the aim of instilling a new healthy habit that could one day save their life.

"We wanted to expand our charity work and we know that breast cancer affects many, many people," said Chief Executive James Whiting.

"CoppaFeel has local links, and we hope that by raising both money and awareness of the charity it could help save lives both in this area and beyond."

The yellow and black away kit from 2014/15 is being kept as an emergency third kit for 2015/16, but will only be worn if both of the home and away kits clash with our opponents.

The new home and away shirts (adult sizes) are on sale from 10am on Friday in the club shop and online later on in the day, priced at £39.99. The club will keep supporters updated of when the junior shirts are due to arrive.

The club shop has extended opening hours this weekend and will be open from 9am to noon on Saturday.
