Chris Wilder on Northampton Town v Birmingham City
Cobblers boss Chris Wilder on Tuesday night’s 2-2 draw with Birmingham.
“We didn’t start as positively as we should have done but after the first ten minutes I thought we acquitted ourselves really well,” he said.
“We looked a threat going forward, we were up against some decent players and in the end I was a bit disappointed that we didn’t win.
“We need to do a little bit more work defensively which we will do but I was really pleased with the way we pressed again and we made it difficult for the opposition.
“There were a lot of good performances, we scored two good goals and overall I think we are in good nick.
“I think we are in a good place and if I was a supporter I would have really enjoyed these last two games.
“We’ve got a really good group which we are still looking to add too but we are showing some really good signs.”
