Chris Wilder on Worthing v Northampton Town
Cobblers boss Chris Wilder was happy with Tuesday night’s win at Worthing.
“It was a really enjoyable game, obviously the surface was a bit different to what we are used to but I thought the players adapted really well and showed a great attitude once again,” he said.
“It was a competitive game, it was a step up for us and we got a lot out of it.
“We played some decent stuff going forward, created quite a few chances and our finishing was a bit better than it was on Sunday.
“I wasn’t too happy with the goals we conceded but we can work on those things and that’s what pre-season is really all about.”
