Grant Ellingham looking for employment
One of Northampton Town's Multi Disabled players and a massive Cobblers fan successfully completed The Prince Trust Award recently. The presentation was made at the offices of Ricoh in Northamptonshire. The course lasted twelve weeks and was broken down as follows:
Week 1 Introduction. Team Building and planning for residential
Week 2 Team Building Residential
Week 3 Fundraising and planning for our community project
Week 4/5/6 Community Project.
Weeks 7/8 Individual Work Placements
Week 9 Next steps
Week 10/11 Final team challenge
Week 12 Final team presentation
Community Officer Russell Lewis went to the presentation and was touched by many of the stories of what difficulties young people have gone through and how the Princes Trust has changed their lives.
Grant is currently doing volunteering work with a number of organisations including the Football in the Community. What Grant needs though is to have a little break where he can achieve full time employment with a company will give him support while he is learning. Grant's qualities, which there are many include reliability, honesty and being a friendly, supportive team player and a course he is a massive Cobblers supporter.
